Tactile Talk is a multimedia installation using textual practices and bodily techniques as means to reveal processes of corporeal mediation. Based on the concept of chiasm proposed by Maurice Merleau-Ponty and expanded by Michel Bernard, this project explores the crisscrossing and overlaps between perception and discourse, or between sensory information and utterance. Through on-site medial expansion and interconnection, the dancing body becomes the visible mediator and archiver of sensations and informations expressed in the unfolding of interwoven gestures.
