Unfortunately, DAYL Odense needed to cancel ATLAS performance, because of the pandemic due to the coronavirus.
The World is stuck in an unstoppable spin.
Atlas is a humorously absurd street performance in which the performers are equipped with space helmets to protect them against the world’s constant spin, in search for a soft landing spot.
The "atlas joints", which carry the heavy load of the head, are forced to a test while the performers seek for bodily balance supported by an electronic soundscape.
Atlas is produced by Tanssiteatteri Minimi (FI) and the Dance All Year Long Festival Odense, is happy to annonce this world premiere of this new creation by Iiro Näkki & Mikko Makkonen.
Duration: 25 min.
