Sofie Christiansen / Miran Ugljen
Artistic director and choreographer for sART Danseteater. Her recent work is the Reumert nominated performance Knud Romers ABC, a piece that are touring the country this season. For the past 10 years, Sofie has been living just outside Svendborg in south off Denmark and has produced professional and community pieces with children, young people and elderly, sartdanseteater.dk
DANCE ALL YEAR LONG is a fantastic initiative that she obviously wants to contribute to. Sofie takes the young talented dancer Miran Ugljen, who has a very soul-filled access to music and dance. He is Urban dancer with crossover to modern. He has his roots in Odense, but now lives in Kbh. He was a dancer in sART's piece Toyboy and has recently participated in the West Side Story at Aarhus Theater. Miran teaches and is dancing in Dansekapelet and works with Jesper Kruger in Pivot Production.
